I was surfing the internet tonight and ventured onto the NASA website. I can’t be the only person who thinks that space can be cool. I used to dream of being an Astronaut when I was a kid. Flying to the moon or discovering a new world or even alien life forms would have been my crowning achievement. Obviously that didn’t work out for me, but it is always nice to dream. Don’t get me wrong, I am very happy with the way my life turned out. Now that I have grown up and have kids, I always look for constructive things that can keep them entertained. What I found tonight was that NASA has a Kids Club.
So what does this NASA Kids Club do? It isn’t a club in the traditional sense, it is a collection of games and videos online to keep your kids entertained. It also isn’t just about entertaining. They teach kids about NASA and what they do as well as various things about space. It is actually pretty cute. They even have Elmo and Buzz Lightyear involved. I really think it is worth you checking out. I always try out a few of the games before I let my kids play anything. I want to be sure that it is something that I want them exposed to.
